Don Toliver is dealing with some legal drama.

According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, April 9, the Texas native was arrested by police after they suspected he was driving while intoxicated. The California Highway Patrol pulled Toliver over for speeding near San Fernando Valley in the early hours of Tuesday morning. During their assessment of the situation, cops claimed they noticed signs that he may have been impaired during his time in the driver's seat. Cops didn't seem to have enough to haul him in so they issued a ticket and released him from their custody.

Don Toliver was cooperative throughout the entire interaction with police. The official report didn't indicate that there was a passenger in the car at the time. However, Toliver was released to a sober person who was with him.

The "Worth It" crooner's run-in with police comes a few weeks after he became a father. Don Toliver and his girlfriend Kali Uchis recently welcomed their newborn son into the world. The couple debuted their first child together in Toliver's latest music video for "Deep In The Water." He also announced his upcoming album HardStone Psycho is coming this summer.

"In this Picture…At that very moment I realized I Overcame Soo Much … in such little time," he wrote in a recent Instagram post. "An I’m still Here to overcome even more…..Working on the Best Version of Me forever🙏🏿 Album This Summer. It’s mine 🏴‍☠️ HardStone Psycho 🤠"
