Who doesn't remember Jay last year at the Grammy's...sippin' D'Usse from his award?
Makes 11½ parts cognac (D’USSÉ)
1 part Amaretto
2 parts fresh pineapple juice
Dash Angostura aromatic bitters
Shake and strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wedge
The Blurred Lines
Makes 1 serving1½ oz. vodka
¼ oz. coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
¼ oz. hazelnut liqueur (like Frangelico)
Mix the first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then strain into a rocks glass. Add ice and finish off with soda water. No garnish needed.
The Ron Burgundy
Makes 12 cups brown sugar
2 oz. Scotch (Howell uses Famous Grouse)
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. fresh grapefruit juice
2 dashes peach bitters
2 dashes angostura bitters
Orange or lemon peel, for garnish
1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat brown sugar and 1 cup water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.2.
In a shaker with ice, combine the Scotch, lemon and grapefruit juices, ½ oz. brown sugar simple syrup, and bitters. Shake vigorously and strain into a short glass with large ice. Garnish with an orange peel. (Leftover brown sugar syrup can be stored in a jar to use in future cocktails.)

The Black Beauty
1.5 oz Crown Royal
1 splash of grenadine
3 oz. club soda
Serve in a highball glass
