Via The YBF: President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama appeared at two official inaugural balls on Monday night.
Today, Barack Obama celebrated being sworn in as the 44th President of The United States tonight with two well-appointed balls in the nation's capital. First, the President and First Lady headed to the Commander-In-Chief's Ball and later headed over to the Official Inaugural Ball, both held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
For the second year in a row, First Lady Michelle Obama turned to American-born designer Jason Wu to create a stunning inaugural look. He created a long halter-neck ruby chiffon custom gown with velvet details. Her shoes were Jimmy Choo and she accessorized with a handmade ring by Kimberly McDonald.
Performers at the Commander-In-Chief Ball included Alicia Keys, Brad Paisley, Chris Cornell, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson and Marc Anthony.
Jennifer looked gorge in a simple black gown with great hair and makeup.
And Alicia rocked red as well.
At the Official Inaugural Ball, supporters saw performances from Alicia Keys, Black Violin, Brad Paisley, Far East Movement, FUN., John Legend, Katy Perry, Maná, Smokey Robinson, Soundgarden, Stevie Wonder and Usher.
STUNNING. Congrats to the President and First Lady. We look forward to four more years.
