
JAY-Z AND BEYONCE BECOME MUSIC'S FIRST BILLIONAIRE COUPLE
Jay-Z and Beyonce are reportedly pop music's first billionaire couple. According to The New York Daily News, an insider said that Beyonce's new H&M deal and her Mrs. Carter Showworld tour -- which will bring in $115 million, has helped bring the couple's worth to $1 billion dollars.
Meanwhile, in a new video for Chime for Change, the organization that support women's empowerment, Beyonce explained how she encourages her 15-month-old daughter Blue Ivy every day. She said, "I'm telling my daughter every day, 'You know you can be president, you know it's possible,' and I know she has no idea why I'm saying that."
Beyonce is set to headline the Sound of Change concert on June 1st.

IYANLA VANZANT WRITES OPEN LETTER TO DMX
Iyanla Vanzant has written an open letter to DMX -- just days after his appearance on OWN's Iyanla, Fix My Lifeaired. In the letter, Iyanla wrote, "Beloved, I know we haven't spoken since our time together in Yonkers. And what I'm hearing is that they are just waiting for the call. They are waiting for the day they get the call. And you know what I mean. But I'm not waiting for that call. I'm calling on you, and I'm not going to give up on you. I will not stand by and watch my brother die."
She continued, "Over the years, I've worked with many, many people who've struggled with addiction. With help, healing is possible. I want you to remember the person you became in the final months of your grandmother's life. That's a clean life. You can be that man today and every day. Just remember what your son said to you, 'I want a relationship with you that is not toxic.'
She then added, "My brother, Earl, DMX, I support you. I love you and I'm calling on all of my beloveds...to send you their love and support. I know that there is no valley deep enough, no gap wide enough that love can't conquer. My door is always open."
DMX'S SON RESPONDS
DMX's 20-year-old son Xavier also responded to X's statement, saying that Iyanla made his life worse. He said, "The older that I've gotten, learning to see him as a person...He loves to play the victim role. At first, he thought the show was going to be all about him. When he started to tackle the tough questions, he just flipped out. Iyanla didn't make his life worse, he did that," Xavier said in an online video circulating. He also said that after removing himself from the situation with his father that he was able to find some clarity.

THE BEEF BETWEEN RIHANNA AND CIARA CONTINUES
The beef between Rihanna and Ciara has continued. Rihanna got wind of comments that Ciara made about her in a recent interview and wrote on Instagram, "How u gon hate from outside??? Thanks for the free promeux sis!! When will they start asking questions about HER?"
Ciara responded, "I am baffled. The obsession really makes no sense. This is getting out of hand... Somebody please point her in the right direction, cuz she clearly needs love and affection..:)."
Ciara's upcoming album Ciara -- formerly entitled 'One Woman Army' will hit stores in July.

Singer-songwriter Roscoe Dash has decided to retire from writing and performing hooks for artists. Dash, who has written and performed on hooks for artists like Wale, Kanye West, Soujla Boy, Waka Flocka Flame and more. He tweeted yesterday (April 17th), "ITS OFFICIAL I'm retiring from the hook game.... No more roscoe dash hooks PERIOD so dnt ask."
He continued, "U know wut the difference between me & EVERYBODY else is? I have the OPTION to retire ...At 23!! so keep makin small talk amongst yourselves."
