Now that the Republicans have had their show, the Democrats will host their convention today through Thursday in Charlotte, North Carolina.

During the three-day confab, the Democrats will focus on President Obama's achievements during his time in office and will highlight his plans to bolster the middle class.

On tap for tonight is first lady Michelle Obama. Former President Bill Clinton will headline the second night and it will all wrap up with President Obama's address on Thursday.

JAY-Z PERFORMED WITH PEARL JAM AT MADE IN AMERICA FESTIVAL: Jay-Z teamed up with Pearl Jam during his Made In America festival in Philadelphia on Sunday night. LIL WAYNE FINALLY RELEASES 'DEDICATION 4': After several delays, Lil Wayne has finally released his DJ Drama mixtape Dedication 4. The tape features appearances from Nicki Minaj ("Mercy"), J. NATE DOGG'S FAMILY FIGHT OVER HIS ESTATE: According to TMZ.com, Nate Dogg's children are against their grandmother or their stepmother in charge of the late singer's estate. Nate passed in 2011 -- and didn't leave a will, so his wife Latoya Calvin took charge. His kids didn't agree and asked a court to nominate attorney named Alex Borden instead. Last week, Latoya filed new legal docs requesting that Nate's mom Ruth Holmes be named co-administrator of his estate. Nate's daughter Aucrane Hale told the site,"Ruth doesn't have my best interest or the interest of my brothers and sisters." She added that if they are in charge of the instead, she and her siblings won't get any money. She also revealed that Latoya didn't even show up to Nate's funeral and that Ruth was "never a grandmother" and has withheld money in the past.

50 CENT SUES HEADPHONE COMPANY: According to The Miami Herald, 50 Cent is suing the bosses of a headphone company for failing to pay back his initial investment in a planned venture. 50 -- who is now the face of SMS headphones, has claimed that he partnered with execs at Sleek Audio LLC in 2010 and offere dup cash that he was supposed to et back. 50 said that his former partners owes him $285,000. His former partners have claimed that the loan nullified once 50 teamed up with SMS.

FREEWAY SPEAKS ON BEANIE SIGEL'S ARREST AND PRISON TIME: In an interview with Allhiphop News, Freeway opened up about Beanie Sigel's recent arrest for drug and gun possession and his two year sentence for tax fraud. Freeway said, "It's definitely unfortunate. I was just on the phone with his wife. It's looking crazy, but Inshallah, he will get through it. It's hard on me, it's hard on his family, but he's got good people out here who support him."
