RICK ROSS DENIES CANCELLING SHOWS DUE TO DEATH THREATS
Rick Ross has issued a statement -- denying that he cancelled schedule tour stops in North Carolina because of death threats. Reports say that Ross has been receiving threats from the North Carolina faction of the Gangster Disciples. The group's Georgia faction released a video in October threatening the rapper. In the clip, they said, "We pressing up on you, the whole Maybach . . . We ain't going to release this pressure on you until you release this check, Maybach, Meek Mill, everybody G. Nothing personal, but tell your boss man he got to get that check 'cause y'all in trouble."
A rep for Ross told Allhiphop.com that the tour was supposed to go until December 16th, but promoters in Greensboro and Charlotte showed "apparent lack of organization and communication on the part of the tour promoter." This madeRoss and his management to cancel the rest of the Maybach Music Tour.
- Ross said in a statement, "I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities. I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I'm ready to get back in the studio to make good music."

- Kendrick also spoke about one moment that changed his life. He said, "One particular moment in my life changed everything to where I started thinking different. That positivity led to me doing music. The moment was [discussed on] 'I'm Dying of Thirst']. A situation happened with one of my homeboys passing. This lady straight out asked us, 'What do you believe in? Do you believe in the higher power or are you gonna keep believing in these guns and drugs the rest of your life?' That was it."
