MOS DEF ISN'T TOO HAPPY ABOUT JAY-Z'S BARCLAY'S CENTER: In an interview with Vulture Magazine, Mos Def -- now known as Yasiin Beyhas revealed that he is not a fan of Barclay's Center. He recently wrote a poem entitled "On center.stadium.status." He said, "I was on DeKalb Avenue and Flatbush, probably two months ago, and at the intersection I saw these not-quite-so-young men, in standing traffic, trying to sell bootleg Rolling Stones T-shirts. I thought, 'This is the trickle-down economic effect of Barclays in the neighborhood?' I didn't think of it as a positive." He continued, "I have been what some people might call an opponent to the stadium. I was concerned about what the stadium's presence in the community might do. I was concerned." He continued, "I respect Jay. I have great respect for him. I'm a fan. I'm not a fan of everything [he does] but I don't think you have to be a fan of everything that someone does to have respect for them."

THE GAME AND STACY DASH STAR IN 'HOUSE ARREST': Allhiphop News has reported that The Game and actress Stacey Dash will star in the upcoming film House Arrest. The film will debut at The Laemmle Music Hall Theatre in Los Angeles this Saturday. The film centers around Game who plays a character named "DeAndre" and his girlfriend who becomes involved in a computer chip scheme -- which results in her being charged and placed on house arrest. House Arrest arrest will be available on DVD from Lionsgate March 26, 2013.
AMBER ROSE AND WIZ KHALIFA REVEALE THEIR DUE DATE: Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa have revealed her due date. In an interview on the red carpet at the Grammys, Amber said, "I'm due on the 24th. But you know, babies can come a week before, a week after. You never know. So we got a couple weeks left."
LECRAE BECOMES THE FIRST RAPPER TO WIN A GOSPEL GRAMMY AWARD: Gospel rapper Lecrae made history at the Grammy awards when he became the first rapper to win Best Gospel for his 2012 Gravity. He said in a statement, "This past year has been an amazing experience and to see that my music is opening doors for the Hip Hop culture is incredible. All I want to do is make great honest music for all my fans to enjoy. I want to build opportunities for other artists like myself as well as show that there is always a place for being unashamed and authentic."
