According to FreddyYo.com, the music of Tupac will be brought to life on the Broadway stage. Raisin in the Sun's Kenny Leon will direct the piece for the 2013-2014 musical season.
The show will be driven by Tupac's poetry and music but will not be about Tupac's life. "Holla If You Hear Me" is about two childhood friends and their families that are challenged by the drama in a Midwest. Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, is placed to be a producer for the project.
